Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my fiancé and our dog. I also enjoy photography as well as running and cycling, and I compete in triathlons occasionally.

I chose to go into medicine because I wanted a career that allowed me to serve others and help improve their lives. I enjoy working in primary care because it allows me to build relationships with my patients and be an integral part in helping them reach their health goals. I believe prevention and lifestyle are the most important things we can do so I try to focus on those things when possible. I am comfortable with working with patients of all ages and of varying medical complexities. I value patient input and preferences when developing treatment plans. I also have quite a bit of experience working with mental health issues as well. Outside of medicine, I enjoy hiking, music, reading, cooking and exercise. I am married to a wonderful man and we currently have one son with plans for more children in the future. We have one fur baby as well.

From a very young age, I knew I always wanted to be in medicine, not only for the science of it, but for developing long-lasting patient relationships. I look forward to working in partnership with patients in developing a reachable and sustainable plan that allows them to achieve their health goals. My focus is to ensure my patients feel heard and feel that we are working together. I enjoy preventative health and chronic care management, such as hypertension and diabetes control. Outside of work, I enjoy trying different eateries and coffee shops and spending time with my family.
