Dr. Jorge (pronounced “George”) Castriz is a board certified interventional cardiologist. Dr. Castriz offers the full complement of cardiology services including arterial catheterization, biventricular pacing, temporary pacemakers, conventional and stress echocardiography as well as exercise and pharmacologic stress testing. He also brings his expertise in all aspects of peripheral angiography and coronary angioplasty (AAA endovascular stent grafts, renal artery stents, angioplasty, DCA, rotablator, brachytherapy, IVUS and physiologic lesion assessment). Dr. Castriz is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology and is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Prior to joining the Great Falls Clinic in 2013, Dr. Castriz maintained an active practice with the Cardiovascular Medical Specialists of the Palm Beaches in Jupiter, Florida. Prior to that, Dr. Castriz owned a private practice in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida for nine years. Dr. Castriz received his medical degree from the University Central Del Este in the Dominican Republic. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine, and his fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in Oklahoma City, OK. Dr. Gerasimou has been practicing medicine in Montana for over 20 years. Formerly an interventional cardiologist for 19 years, Dr. Gerasimou transitioned her practice to general cardiology in July 2021. Dr. Gerasimou specializes in all aspects of cardiology and brings with her an extensive cardiac background. Dr. Gerasimou attended Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania for her Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1987. She then went on to complete her medical degree from the American University in Montserrat in 1991. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the Danbury Hospital in Connecticut in 1994 and her cardiology fellowship at the University of Iowa in 1997. After completing schooling, Dr. Gerasimou accepted her first job as a cardiologist at the Great Falls Clinic in 1998. We are excited to welcome her back to our team full-time! In her spare time, Dr. Gerasimou enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys hiking, fly-fishing, skiing and her Peloton bike.
