I was drawn to medicine and specifically to the field of interventional radiology because of my desire to help patients using the most up to date technologies and minimally invasive techniques. Our ability to treat diverse illnesses such as liver and kidney cancer, vascular disease and infections though a tiny incision just a few millimeters in size allows me to achieve my ultimate goal: helping patients recover from their illnesses faster with less discomfort and less inconvenience. In addition to treating patients, I also participate in research to help advance the field of interventional radiology and ensure that we have the knowledge to provide the highest quality care for our patients.
