Overview
Dr. Maniu joins the interventional section as an interventional cardiologist with over two decades of experience in academic, hospital, and community settings. He earned his medical degree from Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania, and completed his residency in Internal Medicine, as well as fellowships in Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology, at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville and Rochester. Clinically, Dr. Maniu sees outpatients at the Cardiology Clinic in Columbia, and he will cover the interventional lab at Howard County Medical Center.
