He is also currently participating in ongoing clinical trials.Dr. Monroe has been published in the American Heart Association’s journal, Circulation, as well as in Progress in Cardiovascular Diseases, The Journal of the American College of Cardiology, The Journal of Heart and Lung Transplantation, and The American Heart Journal.|He has co-authored chapters in the books Cardiology and Cardiovascular Therapeutics, A Companion to Braunwald’s Heart 2nd Edition and has presented before the members of the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions.
