Overview
Jennifer Sweet, DO, provides primary care for patients of all ages from birth through end of life. Her approach emphasizes nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices to prevent and treat diseases. Her goal is to educate patients on disease processes so that they make more informed choices and become better advocates for their own health. She can provide information on research regarding risks and benefits of treatment options and help to sift through the confusion of misinformation.Dr. Sweet does both preventative care including well child exams, sports physicals, women's health and Medicare Annual Wellness exams as well chronic disease management, working in conjunction with specialists when needed. As an osteopathic physician she also provides osteopathic manipulation when indicated to help with both acute and chronic pain. Her hope is to assist patients in finding safe options for chronic pain and avoiding medications that are high risk or don't have strong research support.Dr. Sweet is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
