Dr. Buck was born and raised in Tulsa, OK. He first came to Waco as a freshman at Baylor University. After completion of a B.A. in religion, he was in full-time ministry for three years. After that, Dr. Buck returned to Oklahoma to complete medical school and an ENT residency at OSU-Tulsa. Dr. Buck is married with five children.
