Dr. Piyush K. Dhanuka

Dr. Dhanuka was elected Chief of Medical Staff when he was 37 years old. He went on to serve as a member of the governing board at Shasta Regional Medical Center for many years. He has served as a member of the Medical Division Committee at Mercy Medical Center since 2008. He is currently the Medical Director of Endoscopy at Mercy Medical Center. In the past, he has taught medical students and residents as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at New York Medical College. Dr. Dhanuka is actively involved in promoting the community's well-being by delivering educational lectures and volunteering his time. He has been a long-time supporter of several local non-profit organizations like Turtle Bay, Think Pink, Relay for Life, local school programs, and many others. For several years, he has been a frequent guest on various radio shows and has co-hosted several radio shows on healthcare and social issues.
