Dr. John A. Mondelli

Dr. John Mondelli is a cardiologist with Atlantic Cardiology and is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and nuclear cardiology. A member of Atlantic Medical Group with fellowship-training in cardiology, Dr. Mondelli manages all aspects of cardiac health for his patients to help improve their quality of life. With more than 20 years of experience, Dr. Mondelli takes a wholistic approach and instills confidence in his patients by attentively listening to their concerns and taking a genuine interest in their well-being. He employs his intuitive and practical skills to establish a plan of care for each patient, explaining procedures and treatment options in a clear and understandable manner. In addition to his clinical expertise, he has been involved in clinical research endeavors studying best practices in echocardiography for evaluating cardiac function. Dr. Mondelli is a member of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and The American Society of Echocardiography. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology (ACC). After earning his degree from Northwestern University School of Medicine in Chicago, Dr. Mondelli completed his residency at the University of Michigan Hospitals. He subsequently returned to Northwestern University to pursue fellowship training which launched him into his cardiology practice with a strong clinical and academic background. Dr. Mondelli is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
