Overview
Dr. Bannon is a board-certified and fellowship-trained general and colorectal surgeon. His clinical interests include breast cancer and diseases of the breast, gastrointestinal surgery, hernia repair, and endoscopy and colonoscopy. His research interests include colorectal cancer, breast cancer and resident medical education. Dr. Bannon obtained his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University and completed his residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center. He then completed a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Dr. Bannon is certified by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery and the American Board of Surgery.
