Kyle Soltys, MD, is a board-certified pediatric liver transplant surgeon at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and an associate professor of Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Soltys earned his medical degree from the Boston University School of Medicine. He then completed a General Surgery Residency at the University Hospital Department of Surgery in Newark, NJ, followed by a Transplant Fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Recanati-Miller Transplant Institute. Finally, he completed a Transplantation Fellowship at UPMC’s Thomas E. Starzl Transplant Institute. Starzl fellowship in transplantation, hepatic, and multivisceral transplantation. He is a member of the Society of University Surgeons, the American Surgical Association, and the Pediatric Committee of the International Liver Transplant Society.
