Dr. Dominik K. Rog

Dr. Thomas Mann is a fellowship-trained sports medicine specialist who joined Cornerstone Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, a division of OCC, in 2000. He is a fellow of The American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine, the leading organization for sports medicine in the U.S. Dr. Mann graduated with honors from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed his orthopedic residency at Penn State University, followed by a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Ohio State University, gaining advanced training in arthroscopic surgery and team coverage across multiple sports, including football, soccer, hockey, and gymnastics. His experience includes work with teams such as the Columbus Chill, Hershey Bears, and the U.S. Under-17 Soccer Team during a European tour. Locally, he has provided sideline coverage for Ralston Valley High School Football for over five years. Dr. Mann is also committed to community service, volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, Denver Hands for Hope, and serving regularly as a camp doctor and committee member with Young Life Central Denver. Frank Wydra, MD, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine. His clinical interests include shoulder, hip, and knee injuries, as well as shoulder replacement. Dr. Wydra uses advanced surgical techniques to perform procedures such as rotator cuff repairs, knee arthroscopy, ACL reconstruction, and hip arthroscopy. He trained at Denver Health and also treats a wide range of fractures and traumatic injuries. Originally from Palos Park, Illinois, Dr. Wydra earned his BS in Molecular and Cellular Biology with a Chemistry minor from the University of Illinois, followed by an MA in Medical Science from Loyola University Chicago. He received his medical degree from Rush University Medical College, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Colorado in 2018, providing care for student-athletes at various local sporting events. To further specialize in sports medicine, Dr. Wydra completed a fellowship at the prestigious Kerlan-Jobe Institute, a Cedars-Sinai affiliate. There, he served as assistant team physician for the LA Galaxy, US Women’s Soccer, Pepperdine University, and other organizations. Growing up an athlete, Dr. Swinehart understands the frustration of injuries. As a college pitcher, he underwent elbow surgery for a torn ligament. The experience of returning to play with the help of his orthopedic surgeon inspired him to pursue a career in orthopedics. Now a Sports Medicine specialist, Dr. Swinehart focuses on helping patients return to the activities they love. Whether it is a new injury or a long-standing issue, he provides the most current information and advanced surgical techniques to guide treatment. Dr. Swinehart is originally from rural Ohio and played baseball at Belmont University in Nashville. He earned his medical degree from the University of South Carolina in Greenville, where he conducted research on shoulder arthroplasty under Dr. Richard Hawkins at the Steadman Hawkins Clinic. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, caring for athletes from Vanderbilt University and the Nashville Predators. Dr. Swinehart then completed a Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery fellowship at The Ohio State University. There, he specialized in advanced arthroscopic procedures, cartilage restoration, complex reconstructions, and shoulder replacements.
