Dr. Bishnu Subedi

Bishnu Subedi, MD, is a cardiologist with the UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute. He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the Board of Nuclear Cardiology, the National Board of Echocardigraphy, the Certification Board of Cardiovascular CT, and is a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation. Dr. Subedi received his medical degree from Manipal College of Medical Sciences/Kathmandu University, Nepal, and completed his internal medicine residency at Greater Baltimore Medical Center, followed by his cardiology fellowship at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. Dr. Subedi’s clinical interests include novel therapies in management of coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, complex arrhythmias and valvular diseases, coronary CT, lipid lowering agents and resistant hypertension. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology, American College of Physicians, American Society of Echocardiography, the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, and the National Lipid Association. Outside of medicine, Dr. Subedi enjoys travel, volleyball, badminton, poetry, instrumental music, and public speaking. He is fluent in English, Hindi, and Nepali.
