Overview
Dr. Penupolu is a board-certified and fellowship-trained specialist in pulmonary and critical care medicine. His clinical and research interests include exercise physiology, pulmonary rehabilitation and pulmonary hypertension. Dr. Penupolu earned his medical degree from Kurnool Medical College in India. He then moved to the United States to complete his residency at Jersey City Medical Center. He completed his fellowship in critical care medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, Montefiore Medical Center, and his fellowship in pulmonary disease at Mayo Clinic Hospital, Scottsdale. Dr. Penupolu is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in critical care medicine and pulmonary disease. He speaks English, Hindi and Telugu.
