Dr. David A. Geller

Dr. Geller is a Professor of Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and Director of the UPMC Liver Cancer Center. As a hepatobiliary and liver transplant surgeon at the Starzl Transplant Institute, his clinical interests center on the evaluation and management of patients with liver cancers. He is focusing on novel and minimally invasive approaches for the treatment of liver cancer. He has particular operative expertise in performing laparoscopic liver resections and laparoscopic radiofrequency ablations of liver tumors. Dr. Geller is a member of many professional and scientific societies including the Society of Surgical Oncology, Society of University Surgeons, and the American Society of Transplant Surgeons.
