Overview
Wound care truly requires a multidisciplinary approach which addresses the physiological, anatomical, and psychosocial factors. Simply prescribing an antibiotic or ointment can be overly simplistic when dealing with wounds which have not healed with the body's own natural defenses. That is why my approach is to nurture and treat the patient so that we restore the body's natural healing abilities as best as possible,and address underlying issues which will help heal and prevent future problems.
