
Overview
Krishna Kancharla, MD, is a cardiologist certified in clinical cardiac electrophysiology, cardiovascular diseases, and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a cardiac electrophysiologist at the UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute and is an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Kancharla’s interests also include the management of patients with slow heart rhythms and heart failure utilizing cardiac devices such as a defibrillator, pacemaker, and the His bundle type pacemaker. Dr. Kancharla has over 30 publications in peer-reviewed medical journals and textbooks. He serves as a reviewer for various heart rhythm medical journals.
