A native of Belle Harbor, New York, Dr. Joseph K. Powers received his medical degree from New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn. He completed a fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia. He served his residency and internship in internal medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City.Dr. Powers is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and the American College of Cardiology. He serves as a member of the Tennessee Medical Society and belongs to the Bradley County Medical Society.
