
Overview
Dr. Francis Deng is an expert in neuroradiology, specializing in diagnostic imaging of the head, neck, brain, and spine. He is a magna cum laude graduate of Harvard College and earned his medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine. He then completed a medical internship at the Brigham and Women's Hospital, followed by diagnostic radiology residency and neuroradiology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, both affiliates of Harvard Medical School. Dr. Deng is a recognized educator both locally and internationally. Dr. Deng has an academic interest in diagnostic excellence and error. Locally, he holds regular quality assurance conferences for radiology residents to learn from misses and misinterpretations. He hosted a podcast series on this topic published under the aegis of the American Journal of Roentgenology. He also serves as an expert witness in medical liability/malpractice cases.
