Through the Army's Health Professions Scholarship Program, I completed medical school in New England.  I did my residency at a large Army base located in the Puget Sound area of the State of Washington, Fort Lewis.  I served 13 years in the Army and resigned my commission as a LTC in pursuit of working part time to spend more time with my family. I worked as a hospitalist at Duke for six years before returning to my true passion in 2016, primary care. I really enjoy making long lasting relationships with patients. I strive to give patients my best advice and through shared decision-making help them navigate their health care journey while keeping their life journey at the forefront of our minds.
