Dr. Jon-paul Dimauro

Dr. DiMauro is a Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon and the Director of Pediatric Orthopaedic Education at Cohen s Children s Medical Center and Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. He focuses on sports medicine, hip, anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, meniscal tears, arthroscopy, osteochondral defects, scoliosis and spinal deformity, spinal fusions, and congenital musculoskeletal anomalies.

Dr. DiMauro received his undergraduate degree at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY and his medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. He completed his internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, NY and his fellowship in pediatric orthopaedics at the Children s Hospital of Boston in Boston, MA.

He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and an active member of the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America. He is involved in clinical research as well as teaching and mentoring both medical students and residents. He is fluent in English and Italian.
