She currently serves on the executive committee of the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Section on Dermatology.Dr. Lauren’s clinical and academic interests include atopic dermatitis and other inflammatory skin conditions, vascular birthmarks, neonatal dermatology, and medical education. She is actively involved in clinical research and has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters in both dermatology and pediatrics. She has been a strong advocate for medical training, previously serving as Program Director of the Dermatology Residency Program. In her current role as an Associate Designated Institutional Official at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, she supports graduate medical education across multiple specialties and campuses.
