He has been on the editorial board of various neurosurgical journals and medical book publishers. He is also an invited faculty in many neurosurgical conferences and is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, North American Skull Base Society, Society of NeuroInterventional Surgery, Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, American College of Surgeons, and American Heart Association.
