Charlie Peters, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon and surgical oncologist whose philosophy on health care has been shaped by his experience treating patients diagnosed with cancer. Dr. Peters aims to educate, comfort and provide hope while developing individualized treatment plans to optimize outcomes for his patients. Dr. Peters utilizes multi-disciplinary treatment strategies combined with minimally-invasive surgical techniques to achieve the best possible results for his patients. He then completed a two-year fellowship in complex general surgical oncology at Virginia Commonwealth University.When not treating patients, Dr. Peters enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and dogs.
