He then joined the faculty at LSU in New Orleans, where he served as the Director of the Comprehensive Pulmonary Hypertension Center. He joined Johns Hopkins in 2023. He is currently a co-Principal Investigator for a clinical trial of therapy for scleroderma associated pulmonary hypertension supported by the Department of Defense Peer Reviewed Medical Research Program. He is active in numerous societies and serves as the Chair of the Research Committee for the Pulmonary Hypertension Association.
