Overview
Dr. McCormack is a pulmonary, critical care physician and Associate Director of the Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine Division. She is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with obstructive lung disease, including those with asthma and COPD. She has expertise in pulmonary physiology. She serves as the Medical Director of the Johns Hopkins University Pulmonary Function Laboratory and as the Chair of the American Thoracic Society Pulmonary Function Test Committee. She earned her M.D. from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University and her M.H.S. from the Bloomberg School of Public Health. She completed her residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and performed a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Johns Hopkins. She was the recipient of the Frederick L. Brancati Excellence in Mentoring Award. She plays an active role in mentoring fellows and junior faculty in the Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine Division.

Dr. Lammi obtained his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine and did his internal medicine, pulmonary, and critical care training at Temple University Hospital. He then joined the faculty at LSU in New Orleans, where he served as the Director of the Comprehensive Pulmonary Hypertension Center. He joined Johns Hopkins in 2023. He currently serves as the Associate Director of the Johns Hopkins Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation Care Center and is the Associate Program Director for the Advanced Lung Disease Fellowship. His research focuses on the intersection between ILD and pulmonary hypertension, particularly in patients with systemic sclerosis. He is currently a co-Principal Investigator for a clinical trial of therapy for scleroderma associated pulmonary hypertension supported by the Department of Defense Peer Reviewed Medical Research Program. He is active in numerous societies and serves as the Chair of the Research Committee for the Pulmonary Hypertension Association.
