Kathryn Swanson, MD, RPVI was born and raised in Chicago, IL. Prior to joining Piedmont, Dr. Swanson completed an Integrated Vascular Surgery residency at Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans, LA.

He was also on staff at Norton Hospital and Jewish Hospital, both located in Louisville, Kentucky. Dr. Ross is board-certified in vascular surgery. He is a Fellow of the American Heart Association (Stroke Council) and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Ross is also a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the Southern Association for Vascular Surgery and the Society for Vascular Surgery. Dr. Ross has a long standing interest and experience with minimally-invasive and endovascular approaches to vascular problems as well as standard operative approaches, seeking the best solution for long term success for each individual patient. He has participated in multiple clinical trials and registries, and he has been a speaker at numerous symposia and meetings.
