Dr. Karl M. Larsen

Dr. Kovachevich (“Dr. K”) is highly trained in surgery of the hand, elbow, and shoulder with vast knowledge of complex upper extremity conditions. He is board-certified in orthopedic surgery and has completed an added subspecialty certification in surgery of the hand. Dr. Kovachevich has numerous publications in peer reviewed journals, and lectures both locally and nationally on upper extremity issues. He maintains membership in the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS), American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH), the Colorado Orthopedic Society, and Rocky Mountain Hand Society. Dr. John Shank is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle injuries. He has also taught advanced shoulder surgery techniques to surgeons worldwide at the Orthopedic Learning Center in Chicago. He has experience covering high school, collegiate, and professional sports, including serving as associate team physician for the Denver Outlaws. In his free time, Dr. Faulkner enjoys mountain biking, fly fishing, skiing, golfing, and exploring the outdoors with his wife and children.
