Dr. Bennett H. Brown
Overview
Bennett H. Brown, M.D., is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in the hand and upper extremity orthopedic problems. He is director of the Hand Center at Orlin and Cohen and medical director of the South Shore Ambulatory Surgery Center. An award-winning researcher, Dr. Brown joined our hand subspecialist team from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Brown's research in hand fracture fixation techniques was presented at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons annual meeting. His expert knowledge in hand fracture fixation has contributed directly to new technologies in boxing and mixed martial arts. He was chosen by NY State Athletic Commission as the ringside physician for NY state boxing.
