Allan, M.D., completed a two-year post-residency Fellowship in Geriatric Medicine from the prestigious UCLA School of Medicine University/Veterans Administration combined program, considered one of the best training programs of its kind in the world.Our doctors and hand-picked on-call physicians follow our patients from the Alamar Healthcare office to hospital, nursing home, residential care, and assisted living. They coordinate care planning with home health agencies and hospice.Our Alamar Healthcare doctors have many years of Internal Medicine experience in Primary Care treating adults of all ages. Each patient is listened to carefully at each encounter. Our doctors partner with patients in their care. Our practice emphasizes compassion, knowledge, respect and good communication. Patients are followed from office to hospital and on to skilled nursing facilities for continuity of care. Our patients often are members of the same family, from young adult to seniors. We offer new patient appointments & follow-up visits as well as same day or next day Urgent Care appointments for established patients depending on the needs of the patient. Our doctors are proud to serve as physicians to patients throughout Ventura County as well provide healthcare to their local fellow health professionals, to Veterans through the VA Veterans Choice Program, and to eligible Ventura County Health Care Plan Employees.
