Dr. Cheriyan completed his undergraduate degree at Yale University and then returned to Texas to complete his medical degree at UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He completed his residency in Loma Linda, California and subsequently completed a two year fellowship in Urologic Oncology at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute.Dr. Cheriyan understands that patients are often seeking treatment with difficult and stressful problems. He seeks to alleviate that stress through patient education and guidance to find the best treatment for each patient.
