Dr. Chacko Alexander

Chacko Alexander, M.D., MRCP (UK), F.A.C.C. is a board-certified cardiologist who has been practicing in The Woodlands area. Prior to moving to Houston, Dr. Alexander was the Chief of Cardiology at Texas Tech University Medical Sciences Center in El Paso, Texas; he was instrumental in developing the cardiology program at the Medical School and actively involved in teaching and research. He is certified in interventional cardiology and was the first Medical Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Memorial Herman-The Woodlands Hospital. He is also board certified by the National Board of Echocardiography and The American Society of Echocardiography, as well as the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology' (CBNC'). He graduated medical school from the University of Madras, India and completed a residency in India. He had further training in the United Kingdom at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland and also at the University of Wales. He obtained Membership in the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) of the United Kingdom. In the U.S., he completed his Cardiology fellowship at the University of Missouri, Columbia.
