Dr. Steven Goodman graduated from Tulane university with a Bachelors of Science with a Major in Biology. He attended medical school at the University of Illinois in Chicago . Dr. Goodman completed his internship and residency in Family Medicine at San Bernardino County Hospital, following two years of working, outpatient medicine, traveling, fishing and scuba diving in Guam. He and his wife relocated to San Luis Obispo in 1988. He formed Cuesta Medical Group (CMG) in 1994. In 2015 CMG joined Dignity Health’s medical group Pacific Central Coast Health Centers.  Dr. Goodman continues to practice full service Family Medicine, and also serves as the Vice President of Clinical Operations for Pacific Central Coast Health Centers.
