Overview
David Woodson, DO, CAQSM, empowers his patients to take a proactive role in their health care. He educates each patient about their options to help them make informed decisions and improve their quality of life.Dr. Woodson received his bachelor’s degree in biology from Christopher Newport University in Virginia and his doctorate in osteopathic medicine from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) in Virginia. He completed his residency at Virginia Commonwealth University Riverside Family Medicine and a fellowship for Virginia Sports Medicine through VCOM.In his free time, Dr. Woodson enjoys skiing, hiking, running, scuba diving and watching Virginia Tech sports.Special Interests:-Arthritis care-Joint injections-Overuse injuries-Preventative medicine-Sports medicine-Tendinopathy treatment-Ultrasound-guided injections.
