She has served as Chairperson of the Pediatric Department Executive Committee and also as Chief of the Medical Staff at Midtown Medical Center.She is a member of the American National and Georgia American Academy of Pediatrics and is the current district representative for the Georgia American Academy of Pediatrics.She has a daughter, Sophia and a son, Thomas.
