I am passionate about patient education, and strongly believe that the appropriate treatment of medical diseases is achieved through actively listening to patients’ concerns. While it is my job to treat a patient medically, I feel it is equally important to help them understand what is happening in their body. In clinic, I enjoy all aspects of the pulmonary subspecialty, treating all lung conditions. I have a special interest in mesothelioma, having conducted research in that area. Outside of clinic, I offer inpatient pulmonary consultative services and manage critically ill patients in the intensive care unit.
