She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore and her fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at Atlantic Health System in Morristown, New Jersey. Outside of work, Dr. Avondstondt enjoys cooking, yoga, tennis, reading and scuba diving. She is fluent in English and French.
