Overview
Dr. Candice O’Hern Perfetto earned her medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, and completed her internship and residency at the George Washington University (GW) School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington. Dr. Perfetto was named the Chief Resident of Obstetrics and Gynecology at GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences in 2011. In addition, Dr. Perfetto completed her fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Stanford University School of Medicine in 2014. Dr. Perfetto is double board certified in reproductive endocrinology and obstetrics and gynecology and treats patients ages 10-45. Practicing for over 10 years, Dr. Perfetto is experienced in all areas of infertility and has special interests in recurrent pregnancy loss, oocyte cryopreservation (egg freezing) and improving infertility treatment outcomes. Dr. Perfetto’s patients appreciate her personalized care, approachability and thoroughness. Patients know that she will take time to make sure they understand their care plan. Dr. Perfetto is committed to patient-centered care and has been recognized by her colleagues and patients for her outstanding clinical and surgical skills. Throughout her career, Dr. Perfetto has been honored with numerous recognitions and awards. While at Stanford, she participated in resident education as a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Additionally, she was named the Ernest and Amelia Gallo Post-Doctoral Fellow for her research in recurrent pregnancy loss and embryo implantation. Most recently in 2016, she was name a “Houstonia Magazine” Top Doctor. Dr. Perfetto currently serves as a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG). In her spare time, Dr. Perfetto enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
