She is a member of several professional organizations, including the Children’s Oncology Group, American Academy of Cancer Research, and American Society of Hematology.She also lectures and has published extensively in peer-reviewed medical journals. She is fluent in English and Spanish.

She has recently presented at the Annual Thoracic Oncology Symposium of the Puerto Rican Society of Hematology Oncology and spoke on neoadjuvant and adjuvant treatment strategies in lung cancer.
