Overview
Corey A. Pacek, MD, is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon with Tri Rivers Musculoskeletal Centers and a member of its hand and upper extremity team. Dr. Pacek received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at UPMC. He completed hand and upper extremity surgery fellowships at UPMC and the Wexford Hand & UpperEx Center, where he refined his skills in hand surgery, including microsurgery, elbow, and shoulder surgery. Dr. Pacek has served as clinical instructor and staff surgeon, and has authored numerous articles. Board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Pacek serves as a team physician for local high school athletic programs, providing on-field sports medicine coverage. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Society, the Pennsylvania Medical Society, and Allegheny County Medical Society. In addition to performing arthroscopic hand and wrist surgery, Dr. Pacek treats fractures, dislocations, ligament injuries, arthritis, and pediatric hand conditions.
