Dr. Maurer is a member of the Advanced Cardiac Care Center at NewYork Presbyterian Hospital – Columbia Campus.  He is the Director of the Cardiac Amyloidosis Program. He has published over 300 articles including peer reviewed manuscripts, reviews and book chapters.
