
Overview
Dr. Schwartz is a thoracic surgeon with expertise in thoracic oncology, minimally invasive thoracic surgery, airway surgery, lung transplantation and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation. He completed a year of research focusing on thoracic oncology and endoscopic airway interventions. In addition, Dr. Schwartz serves in the following roles at Baylor University Medical Center: Chief, Department of Thoracic Surgery; Surgical Director, Lung Transplantation; Medical Director, Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation; and Surgical Director, Major Airway Disorders.
