Dr. Hammad Bokhari grew up in Detroit, Mich. He earned his undergraduate degree in nutrition from Wayne State University in Detroit and his medical degree from the DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine at Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tenn. He completed a residency in neurology and a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). In practice since 2013, Dr. Bokhari is board certified in neurology. His primary clinical interests include neurohospitalist medicine, clinical neurophysiology, neuromuscular disorders, diagnostic neurology, stroke, epilepsy, sports neurology and concussion. He speaks Urdu. Dr. Bokhari stresses proper education and counseling for all of his patients. His osteopathic background has prepared him to evaluate each patient holistically and provide individualized treatment for a variety of neurological conditions. Dr. Bokhari also serves as an assistant professor of neurology at McGovern Medical School.
