Overview
I became interested in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery during my medical school years at Northwestern University in Chicago. I then moved to the Twin Cities, completing my general surgical internship as well as my otolaryngology residency here at the University of Minnesota in 1997. For 12 years, I was in practice as a general otolaryngologist in the greater Seattle area. During that time, I gained invaluable experience in this field, treating patients in all aspects of general otolaryngology, including otology (hearing diseases and corrective surgery), head and neck masses (both benign and cancerous growths), as well as nasal and sinus diseases. I enjoy seeing both adult and pediatric patients. I am excited to come back to the Twin Cities and join the Department of Otolaryngology here at HealthPartners. The ability to work alongside physicians I trained with many years ago, as well as being actively involved in teaching the medical students and otolaryngology residents, is very attractive. My wife is equally excited to return to her native state of Minnesota, having been born in St. Paul. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my wife, three children and our dog.
