Dr. Kenneth Otah

Dr. Kenneth Otah earned his medical degree at the University of Maiduguri College of Medicine in Nigeria and received additional vascular training and a Master of Science in vascular medicine at the University of London (UK) Imperial College of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate in Brooklyn, followed by a second fellowship in invasive cardiovascular medicine at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore. Dr. Otah, who treats patients ages 16 and older, is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. In practice since 2003, His primary clinical interests are invasive cardiovascular medicine, vascular medicine, endovascular medicine and non-invasive vascular diagnostics, as well as cardiac and vascular CTA (computed tomography angiography) imaging. His practice philosophy focuses on the healing of the total person with emphasis on the cardiac and cardiovascular perspective. He partners with patients to help optimize their cardiovascular health through appropriate medical counsel, aggressive risk factor modification and prevention of cardiac events. Additional languages spoken in his office include Spanish, Yoruba and Uruobo. A resident of Sugar Land, Dr. Otah is married and the father of two sons. When he is away from his practice, he enjoys writing, reading, watching movies, and playing table tennis and chess.
