Dr. Hashemi received her undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University. She attended Brown University for medical school, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She completed her dermatology residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. Following residency, she pursued highly specialized training in rheumatology dermatology at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School. Dr. Hashemi has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and has spoken nationally on topics related to rheumatology dermatology.
