I am a gynecologic oncologist specializing in the care of women who are at risk or have cancer of their reproductive organs. I also take care of women who have complex gynecologic surgery issues who may not have cancer. In addition to a focus on uterine, ovarian, cervical and rare gynecologic cancer, I also have a special interest in cervical cancer screening and the role of human papillomavirus (HPV) in the development of gynecologic cancers and other abnormalities. I have spent much of my career as a researcher and thought leader in this area.
