For complex pulmonary resections, Dr. Inra leverages 3D reconstruction technology, creating a map of a patient's anatomy before he enters the operating room. A special computerized tomography (CT) protocol using IV contrast gives Dr. Inra the ability to better visualize the pulmonary arteries prior to surgery.""When I meet patients for surgical consultations, I try to keep them as informed as possible about their diagnoses,"" he says.
