Dr. Molly S. Gunther

Molly Somberg Gunther, MD, MPA, is a diagnostic radiologist with Atlantic Imaging Services specializing in abdominal and pelvic imaging including: magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT)and ultrasound. Dr. Gunther is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology and fellowship-trained in Body MRI.Utilizing state-of-the-art MRI and CT technology, coupled with her highly specialized training, Dr. Gunther serves a key role in a patient’s health care through the interpretation of a patient’s imaging exams. Dr. Gunther works collaboratively with oncologists, gastroenterologists, and other specialists, consulting on image interpretation to help develop individualized treatment plans for each patient.A member of the American College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, and the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine, Dr. Gunther has published in peer-reviewed radiology journals including the Journal of the American College of Radiology and American Journal of Roentgenology. She has also presented at national conferences including the American College of Radiology.Dr. Gunther earned her medical degree from New York University School of Medicine and a master’s degree in public administration from NYU Wagner School of Public Service. During her final year of medical school, she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. She performed her residency training and completed a fellowship in Body MRI at New York University Langone Medical Center, where she gained unparalleled clinical experience.Dr. Gunther is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.

Her clinical expertise encompasses Ascites, Visceromegaly, Gallbladder Disease, and Folliculitis.

Dr. Gunther is board certified in American Board Of Radiology. She is actively involved in clinical research, co-authoring 2 peer reviewed articles.
