
Overview
Dr. Pangilinan is the medical student clerkship director for PM&R. His clinical practice is in neurorehabilitation, including staffing the in-patient rehabilitation unit, and staffing the TBI/Polytrauma out-patient clinic in the VA-Ann Arbor. He is a consultant at the Heartland of Ann Arbor subacute service. As clerkship director, he works with 4th year medical students, and is the PM&R faculty advisor for students interested in PM&R residency programs. He was involved in the planning of the new medical student curriculum. As part of that effort, he will be a teaching faculty/coach for a group of students in one of four “M-Homes,” which are designed to give the student a “home base” for mentoring and learning. He is a member of the Admission Committee/ Admissions Executive Committee. His current research has involved investigating diagnostic and prognostic factors in veterans with TBI. Dr. Pangilinan is a member of the AAP’s education committee and also serves as the president of the AAP’s Medical Student Educators Council.

Dr. Rodriguez is Medical Director of the Wheelchair Seating Clinic and PM&R Administrator in the Michigan Bowel Control Clinic and the Wound Care Clinic. She has been actively involved in research with the Spinal Cord Injury Model System. She has written and collaborated on several research publications and written chapters on SCI sequelae in premier journals and textbooks in PM&R. Dr. Rodriguez has been recognized for her teaching of trainees with the Silver Crutch award. She is the associate SCI fellowship program director.
